### Lost:

Lost is a TV show that caught me from the first episode like no other has done so far, a slight presentation of characters through Flashbacks that board a plane, once in the air this breaks in half and falls on an island. A very well done montage that made you think that this could be the beginning of something big, only to end with the chilling sound of the monster in the jungle leaving the first cliffhanger of the series, I never wanted so much to see a second episode, it was a necessity, I spent a week thinking about it every day, until the moment I saw it. And so the weeks went by for a long time. There were no social networks like today, even so, I was very active on the internet, participating in forums and following several bloggers, these became the space to share the impressions and theories that each week resulted from watching the new episode. So Lost became "the first cult TV show on the Internet", I was part of it, having great times and leaving me with excellent memories. Today I have watched a lot of TV shows, some much better than Lost, most with more satisfying endings, but the experience of living Lost over several years was incomparable. It had a wealth of characters and individual stories that were very gripping, there was revenge, injustice, redemption, crime, intrigue, betrayal, romance, there was everything, with very compelling performances and easy to empathize with. Isla's secrets were very enigmatic, the polar bear, the hatch, the numbers, the black smoke; and this increased with each season, the others, the labs, the Dharma videos, the conflicts between characters, the approach to the conflict between faith and science, space/time, more theories and more theories, were very good moments. I have so much to say about this series, it is material for several posts. Very shocking and intense episodes I remember titles like "The Constant" for me one of the best the call between Desmon and Penny is the best phone conversation in TV history, also "The Variant" "Living Together, Dying Alone" "What they died for" "man of science, man of faith". It's not a series for all people, it's not easy to watch, it's a long journey with its tedious moments and its good moments too.

Lost es un programa de TV que me atrapó desde el primer episodio como ninguna otra lo ha hecho hasta ahora, una ligera presentación de personajes a través de Flashbacks que abordan un avión, una vez en el aire este se parte por la mitad y cae en una isla. Un montaje muy bien logrado que hacía pensar que este podía ser el inicio de algo grande, para que luego terminará con el sonido escalofriante del monstruo en la selva dejando el primer cliffhanger de la serie, jamás deseé tanto ver un segundo episodio, era una necesidad, pasé una semana pensando en eso todos los días, hasta el momento que lo vi. Y así fueron pasando las semanas durante mucho tiempo. No existían las redes sociales como hoy en día, aun así, yo era muy activo en internet, participando en foros y siguiendo varios bloggers, estos se convirtieron en el espacio para compartir los impresiones y teorías que cada semana resultaban de ver el nuevo capítulo. Así Lost se convirtió en “la primera serie de culto en Internet”, yo fui parte de eso, pasando muy buenos momentos y dejándome excelentes recuerdos. Hoy he visto un montón de programas de TV, algunos mucho mejores que Lost, la mayoría con finales más satisfactorios, pero la experiencia de vivir Lost a lo largo varios años fue incomparable. Tenía una gran cantidad de personajes e historias individuales muy atrapantes, había venganza, injusticia, redención, crimen, intriga, traición, romance, había de todo, con interpretaciones muy convincentes y fácil de empatizar. Los secretos de Isla eran muy enigmáticos, el oso polar, la escotilla, los números, el humo negro; y esto se fue incrementando con cada temporada, los otros, los laboratorios, los videos de Dharma, los conflictos entre personajes, el planteamiento del conflicto entre la fe y la ciencia, el espacio/tiempo, más teorías y más teorías, fueron momentos muy buenos. Tengo tanto que decir de esta serie, que es material para varios posts. Episodios muy impactantes e intensos recuerdo títulos como “La Constante” para mi uno de los mejores la llamada entre Desmon y Penny es la mejor conversación telefónica de la historia de la TV, también “La Variante” “Vivir juntos, Morir Solos” “Por lo que murieron” “hombre de ciencia, hombre de fe”. No es una serie para toda la gente, no es fácil de ver, es un viaje largo con sus momentos tediosos y sus buenos momentos también.

### The Leftovers:

The Leftovers turned out to be in several aspects a more enigmatic story than Lost, with a much better achieved ending, to the point that it made me cope better with the end of Lost, it makes you wonder if it is really necessary to understand everything to feel good about yourself. It's an HBO exclusive TV show that I think should have been better appreciated. The scoop of Leftovers is that suddenly, without explanation 2% of the population disappears, bodies disappeared leaving the clothes and we are going to see how the characters learn to deal with this situation, for example, there is Nora (my favorite character), that while her husband and daughters are eating she walks from the table to the kitchen and when she returns to the table her family disappeared. In The Leftovers we see that human introspective process in the face of what he cannot understand, but is inexorably forced to accept, in a desperate search for an answer, exploring options that go against beliefs and values. It has a narrative that takes its time developing its characters and requires the viewer to empathize with the characters to understand the depth of what is being experienced. It has 3 seasons and is a journey of personal growth that teaches you to review your perspective on existence.

The Leftovers resultó ser en varios aspectos una historia más enigmática que la de Lost, con un final mucho mejor logrado, a tal punto que me hizo sobrellevar mejor el final de Lost, te hace plantearte si en realidad es necesario entenderlo todo para sentirse bien consigo mismo. Es un programa de TV exclusivo de HBO que pienso que debió ser mejor apreciado. La primicia de Leftovers es que de repente, sin explicación desaparece el 2% de la población, desaparecieron los cuerpos dejando la ropa y vamos a ver como los personajes aprenden a llevar esta situación, por ejemplo, está Nora (mi personaje favorito), que mientras su esposo e hijas están comiendo ella camina desde la mesa hasta la cocina y al volver a la mesa su familia desapareció. En The Leftovers vemos ese proceso introspectivo humano ante lo que no puede entender, pero está obligado inexorablemente a aceptar, en una desesperada búsqueda de respuesta, explorando opciones que van en contra de creencias y valores. Tiene una narrativa que se toma su tiempo en desarrollar sus personajes y requiere que el espectador empatice con los personajes para entender la profundidad de lo que se está viviendo. Tiene 3 temporadas y es un viaje de crecimiento personal que te enseña a revisar tu perspectiva ante la existencia.

### Sons Of Anarchy

I think Sons of Anarchy is the most underrated TV show in history, the plot revolves around Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) son of John Teller, who was a founding member of the motorcycle club "Sons Of Anarchy (SOA)", Jax seeks to rescue the philosophy with which his father started the club, which is forgotten with a club involved in illegal activities such as arms trafficking. The first few episodes of SOA didn't quite grab me, I gave it a chance and it ended up being a very good experience. Characters with many layers, well elaborated plot arcs, it is worth mentioning the work of Katey Sagal playing Gemma Teller, Jax's mother, who pulls strings and manipulates having a great responsibility in the most important events that the Club goes through. Constant plot twists keep you on your toes as new conflicts arise. SOA has the best soundtrack in the history of TV, a selection of versions of classics that are a delight. Each season increases the intensity and complexity of the situations, the characters evolve with each conflict, making decisions that have no turning back and crossing lines down paths that have no return. SOA tells the story of Jax's introspective quest that begins with the discovery of a writing left by his deceased father, going through a violent and criminal path that ends up plunging him into a very dark and deep hole.

Creo que Sons of anarchy es el programa de TV más infravalorado de la historia, la trama gira en torno a Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) hijo de Jonh Teller, quien fue miembro fundador del club de motociclista “Sons Of Anarchy (SOA)”, Jax busca rescatar la filosofía con que su padre inicio el club, la cual está olvidada con un club metido en actividades ilegales como el tráfico de armas. Los primeros episodios de SOA no me atraparon del todo, le di la oportunidad y termino siendo una muy buena experiencia. Personajes con muchas capas, arcos argumentales bien elaborados, cabe destacar el trabajo de Katey Sagal interpretando a Gemma Teller, madre de Jax, quien mueve hilos y manipula teniendo una gran responsabilidad en los eventos más importantes que atraviesa el Club. Constantes giros de trama que te mantienen atento ante los nuevos conflictos. SOA posee la mejor banda sonora de la historia de la TV, una selección de covers de clásicos que son una delicia. Cada temporada va incrementando la intensidad y complejidad de las situaciones, los personajes evolucionan con cada conflicto, tomando decisiones que no tienen vuelta atrás y cruzando líneas por caminos que no tienen retorno. SOA nos cuenta la historia de Jax en su búsqueda introspectiva que inicia con el descubrimiento de un escrito dejado por su padre fallecido, atravesando un camino violento y criminal que termina hundiéndolo en un hoyo muy oscuro y profundo.

### Shameless (USA)

Shameless for me is the best drama/comedy mix on TV, it all revolves around the Gallaghers, a very dysfunctional marginalized family trying to survive on the fringes of the system. With a mother who abandoned them the family consists of Frank (William H. Macy) the dad, a hopeless alcoholic with a lazy and irresponsible philosophy of life. Fiona, the eldest daughter, a very feisty and concerned woman. Lip, the second son, a very intelligent son who misses important opportunities because of his alcoholism. He is followed by Ian, a young man with bipolar disorder (inherited from his mother) who explores his sexuality. Carl, a teenager with a penchant for crime. Debbie, a girl who seems to follow in her sister's footsteps and finally there is Liam who in the first season is a baby. There are also Veronica and Kevin, the neighbors and best friends of the family. Accompanied by an innumerable list of very funny secondary characters. The series tells us the day to day life of these characters struggling to survive, making a place for themselves in society, facing conflicts among themselves and against society. Shameless shows very funny situations and at the same time very cruel realities, with a very intelligent script and extravagant dialogues. We see these helpless, intelligent and loyal children grow up and mature with a father who is the best expression of irresponsibility and carelessness. The last season was filmed during the pandemic, and I believe it was the first (if not the only) TV show to include the Covid pandemic in its story, including it prominently in its denouement.

Frank Gallagher is a unique and extraordinary character because in one scene he gives a very convincing existential speech that makes you love him and in another scene he is so irresponsible and carefree that makes you hate him, the work of William H. Macy playing him is a marvel. It should be noted that Shameless has an English version which is the original, but I liked the American version better. If you have already seen it you know what I'm talking about, and if you haven't seen it (and you are of age) I invite you to watch it.

Shameless para mí es la mejor mescla drama/comedia de la TV, todo gira en torno a los Gallagher, una muy disfuncional familia marginada que trata de sobrevivir al margen del sistema. Con una madre que los abandonó la familia está integrada por Frank (William H. Macy) el papá, un alcohólico sin remedio con una filosofía de vida holgazana e irresponsable. Fiona, la hija mayor, una mujer muy luchadora y preocupada. Lip, el segundo hijo, muy inteligente que por su alcoholismo pierde oportunidades importantes. Le sigue Ian, un joven con trastorno bipolar (heredado de su madre) que explora su sexualidad. Carl, un adolecente con cierta inclinación hacia el crimen. Debbie, una niña que parece seguir los pasos de su hermana y por ultimo está Liam que en la primera temporada es un bebe. También están Veronica y Kevin, los vecinos y mejores amigos de la familia. Acompañados por una innumerable lista de personajes secundarios muy divertido. La serie nos cuenta el dia a dia de estos personajes luchando por sobrevivir, haciéndose lugar en la sociedad, enfrentándose a conflictos entre ellos y contra la sociedad. Shameless muestra situaciones muy divertidas y a la vez realidades muy crueles, con un guion muy inteligente y diálogos extravagantes. Vemos crecer y madurar a eso hijos desamparados, inteligentes y leales entre ellos con un padre que es una la mejor expresión de irresponsabilidad y despreocupación. La última temporada fue grabada durante la pandemia, y creo que fue el primer (si no el único) programa de TV que incluyó la pandemia del Covid en su historia, incluyéndolo de forma protagónica en su desenlace.

Frank Gallagher es un personaje único y extraordinario ya que en una escena suelta un discurso existencial muy convincente que te hace amarlo y en otra escena es tan irresponsable y despreocupado que te hace odiarlo, el trabajo de hace William H. Macy interpretándolo es una maravilla. Hay que comentar que Shameless tiene una versión inglesa que es la original, pero a mí me ha gustado más la versión norteamericana.
