The World Health Organization and American Academy of Pediatrics have been recommending that we decrease our exposure – not increase it. The EPA wanted to warn the public about health risks in 1984. Wireless exposure can cause all kinds of health issues including respiratory illnesses. It can yuck up our skin. It can also make us more vulnerable to illnesses. It can disrupt the blood-brain barrier, cause it to leak, and kill brain cells (see 1, 2). So are you sure you would want to wear a Bluetooth-operating “Smart” Mask or strap them onto your kids and elderly loved ones? From CNET:

Face masks are here to stay for the foreseeable future as the world continues to battle the coronavirus pandemic. Japanese startup Donut Robotics has developed a way to turn the ubiquitous coronavirus face mask into the latest tech gadget. The c-mask isn't meant to be worn alone. You place the device over the top of your regular face mask. A Bluetooth connection to your phone lets you dictate messages or make calls.
