Es war wohl einer meiner ersten Gedanken als ich in einem frühen Stadium von „Bitcoin“ gehört habe: „Das dauert nicht lange und diese Verschwörung gegen das Monopol der Staaten Geld zu schöpfen wird hart verfolgt werden“ Ich habe mich geirrt, es ist nichts passiert, nie, aber warum? Zwar gibt es Beispiele wie Südkorea wo die Menschen so schnell und in einem so großen Masse auf die Kryptos angesprungen sind das die dortige Regierung sich überrumpelt fühlte und die Entwicklung durch Gesetze und Verbote verlangsamen wollte, aber aufhalten wird man diese Entwicklung auch in Südkorea nicht und auch nicht wollen. Es ist inzwischen in aller Munde das „bargeldlose Bezahlen“ und es ist auch in verschiedener Art erfolgreich umgesetzt. Im Einzelhandel ist es durch Kreditkarten und Debitkarten längst angekommen. Neu dazugekommen ist das Kontaktlose bezahlen. Die Entwicklungen der Technik bei der Bezahlung geht in verschiedenste Richtungen und man kann davon ausgehen das diese früher oder später durch Gesetze wieder vereinheitlicht wird. Bargeld wird verschwinden, wann werden wir sehen. Das ist im Interesse eines jeden Staates. Es ist also ein wirtschaftlich sehr vernünftiger Schachzug auf ein rein bargeldloses System zu wechseln. Korruption wird erschwert, Kriminelle Aktivitäten im Allgemeinen, auch in Zukunft wird es das geben. Wenn man Geschäfte in Alternativen Bezahlungen zu leisten hat wie Gold oder Silber mit dem man allerdings nirgendwo direkt etwas kaufen kann sondern lediglich umtauschen in die gängige Kryptowährung fallen solche Zahlungen besonders wenn sie regelmäßig sind auf. `Bitcoin verbindet die Mehrheit der Menschen mit kriminellen Aktivitäten.` Nicht ganz zu unrecht. Tatsache ist das Kriminelle durch eine breite Nutzung das Thema stark in die Öffentlichkeit gebracht haben und in dieser Schublade ist es bei vielen nun abgeheftet. Geld ist Vertrauenssache! Es wird dauern bis die Blockchain unser Bargeld übernimmt, erst muss bei der Bevölkerung Vertrauen aufgebaut werden. Banken haben spät begriffen das sie einen ernst zu nehmenden Gegner haben. Global Player wie Goldman Sachs haben 2015 angefangen in Bitcoin zu investieren. Mit der Blockchaintechnologie werden so manche Arbeitsplätze in Banken verschwinden und auch ganze Banken ins wanken kommen. Heute warnen noch viele Banken vor Bitcoin & co, obwohl viele Produkte die sie selbst vertreiben mindestens genauso gefährlich und unvorhersehbar für Anleger sind wie eine Kryptowährung. Natürlich ist den Banken das Thema ein Dorn im Auge, sind sie doch komplett außen vor, niemand braucht mehr eine Bank bei Kryptogeschäften.

Die große Frage ist: Was bleibt übrig? Es werden in den nächsten Jahren immer mehr Kryptowährungen entstehen, auch Staaten haben schon angefangen oder angekündigt eigene Währungen auf den Markt zu bringen. There are examples like South Korea where the people jumped on the cryptos so fast and in such a big mass that the government there felt surprised and wanted to slow down the development by laws and prohibitions, but they will not stop this development in South Korea. Everyone is now talking about "cashless payment" and it has also been successfully implemented in various ways. In retail it has long since arrived in the form of credit cards and debit cards. A new addition is contactless payment. The developments in payment technology goes in various directions and one can assume that sooner or later it will be unified again by laws. It is therefore an economically very reasonable move to switch to a purely cashless system. Corruption is made more difficult, criminal activities in general, there will be crime also in the future. If you have to make transactions in alternative payments like gold or silver with which you can however nowhere directly buy something but only exchange into the common crypto currency, such payments are especially noticeable if they are frequent. `Bitcoin connects the majority of people with criminal activities.` Not without good reason. The fact is that criminals have brought the topic into the public eye through widespread use, and many have pigeonholed it as doubtful. Money is a matter of trust! It will take time until the blockchain takes over our cash, first trust has to be built up with the population. Banks have understood late that they have a serious opponent. Global players like Goldman Sachs started investing in Bitcoin in 2015. With blockchain technology, many jobs in banks will disappear and entire banks will start to falter. Today many banks still warn against Bitcoin & co, although many products they sell themselves are at least as dangerous and unpredictable for investors as a crypto currency. Naturally the topic is a thorn in the eye of the banks, they are completely outside, nobody needs a bank with crypto business.

The big question is: What remains? In the next years more crypto currencies will emerge, even states have already started or announced to bring their own currencies onto the market.
