### ¡Hola, amigos #cuhivers! Hoy quiero comentarles sobre uno de los videojuegos más populares en el entorno de la web 3.0. ### Hello, #Cuhiver friends! Today I want to talk you about one of the most popular video games in the web 3.0 environment. But from 2022 onwards, much has changed and Axie has not been exempt from the bearish market we are living in. Como pueden apreciar, se mantiene el mismo concepto, pero como novedades se añaden la foto de perfil de usuario junto al nombre, personalizables ambos, así como también una barra de experiencia y varios botones como el de la flechita verde que incorpora una mecánica de ganar más puntos por batalla solo haciendo click diariamente. Por cierto, los axies que ven son gratuitos, los trae el juego incorporados para que el usuario común pueda descargarse Axie y comenzar sin inversión alguna. Vale destacar que Origins logró lo que parecía imposible y se lanzó en las plataformas [Playstore ](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.axieinfinity.mystic&hl=es_US&pli=1)y [Applestore](https://blog.axieinfinity.com/p/play-origins-on-your-iphone-today), esto sin dudas da mayor alcance de usuarios que vienen de la Web2.

También están en la parte superior derecha una sección de noticias, mensajes personales de eventos, menú de amigos para retarlos en batalla y por supuesto la configuración. En la parte de abajo la novedad radica en los menús colección y crafteo, en la cual podemos acceder para crear poderosas runas y amuletos para potenciar nuestros axies en las batallas en la arena. Para mí, este elemento de creación de items dentro del juego es uno de los componentes más divertidos y a la vez irritantes de Origins 😂, y es que te puedes gastar muchísimo [SLP](https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/smooth-love-potion/) y muchísimas moonshards (puntos que se obtienen al ganar batallas o cumplir misiones, pero no es un token) buscando ese objeto que necesitas y la suerte no te acompaña. Vean esta tirada que hice de casi 250 SLP y no me tocó la runa que necesitaba mi pájaro:

Observen también que detrás se ve un nivel de crafteo, así como varias recetas para craftear, en esta primera era solo se pueden crear objetos de clasificación "Rara", y se pueden comerciar una vez creados en el mercado de Axie. Y precisamente de las eras es lo próximo que les comentaré. Es otro elemento novedoso que en mi opinión le añade al juego un elemento de planificación muy positivo.

Desde la temporada alfa hasta la actual, he jugado más o menos en cada una. En un inicio se intentó mantener la esencia de las cartas con sus efectos de V2, pero han habido innumerables balances y modificaciones de las cartas, así como de mecánicas y micromecánicas dentro del juego. Hoy día en el ranking competitivo de Axie se pueden encontrar muchos arquetipos y eso habla de la mejoría que ha habido en cuanto al balance. En mi caso personal, yo juego prácticamente por diversión y y no he invertido en comprar equipos competitivos, pero con un equipo de menos de 10 dólares he logrado quedar en posiciones de premios [AXS ](https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/axie-infinity/)en casi todas las temporadas.

### Season 5 of Origins, much more balanced than previous ones I must say that since V3 (Origins) came out, I've tried everything that's been experienced. From the alpha season to the current one, I've played more or less in each one. At first, the essence of the cards with their V2 effects was tried to be maintained, but there have been innumerable balances and modifications of the cards, as well as mechanics and micromechanics within the game. Today in the competitive ranking of Axie you can find many archetypes and that speaks of the improvement that has been in terms of balance. Esta composición es bastante divertida y se basa en acumular bastantes plumitas como las que ven en la imagen para pegar con mucha fuerza a un solo axie con la carte que está en blanco y negro. Las batallas de la arena otorgan puntos de ranking y en dependencia de cuántas partidas ganemos vamos adquiriendo nuevos rangos y se desbloquea más premios de SLP por victoria, ese token sí es minteable y se puede comerciar en los exchanges, pero se utiliza en el ecosistema Axie para procrear a los Axies y para construir las runas y amuletos. El precio del token ahora mismo es bien bajo y esto favorece a que tengas total libertad para jugar y planificar tus estrategias de equipos.

This composition is quite fun and is based on accumulating a lot of feathers like the ones you see in the image to glue with a lot of force to a single axie with the card that is in black and white. Arena battles grant ranking points and depending on how many games we win we acquire new ranks and more SLP prizes are unlocked for victory, that token is mintable and can be traded on exchanges, but it is used in the Axie ecosystem to procreate the Axies and to build the runes and amulets. The price of the token is quite low right now and this favors you to have total freedom to play and plan your team strategies.

As I mentioned before, now the Axie seasons are divided into Eras: (Rare, Epic and Mystic). Each one unlocks new runes and amulets, so players must plan well if they want to fight for the top spots in each stage and take a good AXS bounty at the end of the season. Eso sí, hay que comprender que hubo un cambio de paradigma en Axie y lo que antes se consideraba un "Jugar para Ganar dinero" ahora es bastante más parecido a "Jugar y Ganar".

Another thing that keeps me hooked on season 5 of Axie are the daily and weekly missions. Even the new free Axies have their own missions that give rewards of runes, amulets, stickers for battles and accessories to customize the axies, even SLP rewards. There are many micro-missions that can keep you glued to your PC or mobile phone playing Axie, and although the cash prizes for completing these tasks are discreet, the feeling of progress within the game is exciting, at least I liked it a lot. Of course, you have to understand that there was a paradigm shift in Axie and what was once considered a "Play to Win Money" is now much more like "Play and Win".
