Greetings dear friends of #feelgood, today I am joining the contest organized by @untilwelearn, [Phone Photography Contest - #71](https://hive.blog/hive-190931/@untilwelearn/phone-photography-contest-71). Just as the title of my post says, these photos did make me happy, I am passionate about capturing the beauty that nature offers us with the lens of my camera. Usually, I go out for walks in search of landscapes to take my photos, but these images were not planned, it was a great opportunity and I did not waste it. I took these unexpected photographs in the garden of a nice house where my work team and I went to do an activity related to the drinking water system.

One of the most abundant plants in that garden is the Ixora. They were arranged side by side, cut into small bushes of the same size, achieving practically perfect symmetry. The flowers of this bush are small and always clustered together, giving the impression of a single flower. We can find pink, yellow, white, and red Ixoras, like those in that extraordinary garden. The sun was shining brightly, however, my target was not the Ixoras, but some tiny bees trying to pollinate those tiny flowers. It was very difficult to capture the bees; they moved back and forth constantly. However, I was patient and achieved a fraction of my goal. The Ixoras were part of the landscape; I tried as much as possible to achieve the sharpness of the bees.

This is one of the photos I liked the most, looking for sharpness in the bees, I captured one, immersed in a shower of petals that looked like many red crystals.

I almost gave up; I felt like I couldn't keep up with the speed of the bees. After capturing them motionless for a couple of seconds, I decided to take photos of them in flight. But I kept saying, "They're faster than my camera lens."

The sun didn't let me see, so I kept shooting and shooting with my camera hoping to capture bees accurately, however, some shots came out with various depth angles that I really liked.

Saludos estimados amigos de #feelgood, hoy me uno al concurso organizado por @untilwelearn, [Phone Photography Contest - #71](https://hive.blog/hive-190931/@untilwelearn/phone-photography-contest-71). Tal como lo dice el título de mi publicación, estas fotos sí que me hicieron feliz, me apasiona captar con el lente de mi cámara la belleza que nos brinda la naturaleza. Por lo general, salgo a caminar en busca de paisajes para tomar mis fotos, pero éstas imágenes, no fueron planeadas, fue una gran oportunidad y no la desaproveché. Estas fotografías inesperadas las tomé en el jardín de una linda casa donde mi equipo de trabajo y yo fuimos a hacer una actividad referente al sistema de agua potable.

Una de las plantas que más abundan en aquel jardín es la Ixora, estaban dispuestas una al lado de la otra, cortadas en pequeños arbustos del mismo tamaño, logrando una simetría prácticamente perfecta. Las flores de este arbusto son pequeñas y siempre están agrupadas, por eso dan la impresión como si se tratase de una sola flor. Podemos encontrar Ixoras rosadas, amarillas, blancas y rojas, como las de aquel extraordinario jardín. El sol estaba radiante, no obstante, mi objetivo no eran las Ixoras, sino unas diminutas abejas que trataban de polinizar aquellas pequeñas florecillas. Fue muy difícil capturar a las abejas, se movían de un lado a otro sin parar, sin embargo, me llené de paciencia y logré una fracción del objetivo. Las Ixoras formaron parte del paisaje, traté en lo posible alcanzar la nitidez de las abejas.

Esta es una de las fotos que más me gustó, buscando la nitidez en las abejas, capturé una, inmersa en una lluvia de pétalos que parecían muchos cristales en color rojo.

Casi me rindo, sentía que no podía con la rapidez de las abejas, después captarlas inmóvil por un par de segundos, me propuse a tomarles fotos en pleno vuelvo. Pero yo decía “son más rápidas que el lente de mi cámara”.
