Happy New Year to everyone! My first [LIL (LMAC Image Gallery)](https://www.lmac.gallery/lil-gallery) contribution for the year will start off my participation with flare, I hope. Here you will find some odd images: a pig's eye; a goat's eye; a pig's ear. It always amazes me how the artists in the LMAC community use images from LIL. Imagination is inexhaustible. Most of these pictures were taken during a family outing at a local farm. In some cases choices between pictures was hard. The one below, for example, shows a goat eating a discarded Christmas tree. She was the first woman to pilot a plane solo across the Atlantic Ocean (1932). She [flew from](https://www.britannica.com/biography/Amelia-Earhart) Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, to Londonderry, Northern Ireland. As much celebrity as that solo flight earned her, she became a legend in 1937 after an attempted flight around the world ended in disaster. Amelia Earhart disappeared and was never heard from again. None of my three figures actually *resembles* the person on whom it is modeled. Still, the models do infuse the figures with personality, I think.
