Hello Nature Lovers !

There were already so many excellent entries regarding how amazing nature can be in the past episodes and there is still so much more to see ^^ .. To participate in #amazingnature just create a post that shows how amazing nature is for you personally. This can be anything from a beautiful flower or animal to an astonishing sunset._

What is the Purpose of the Contest ?

_I am a huge lover of nature and really enjoy to take pictures of all the lovely things that surround me every day, no matter if those are plants, animals or landscapes. I found steemit to be a brilliant place to find and watch nature pictures from all over the world. There is such a diversity of great content out there, thanks to all of you, from different perspectives and out of various motivations. I would like to collect all those beautiful snapshots and their amazing stories in a weekly compilation so that you can all benefit from the beauty that we are facing all the time, but so often are not able to appreciate in the modern times we are living in._

_Here we have milkweed pods that already burst open and were submitted for us by @annephilbrick. You can see that the beautiful seeds that are now ready to fly away, which will lead to a most fantastic and amazing sight. As the monarch caterpillars rely on milkweed plants we can also expect to be provided by more of these beautiful butterflies in the future ^^ .. _Here we have quite a lot of great pictures, or better a whole travel report, from the beautiful island of Itbayat in Batanes that was submitted by @iamraincrystal. There is only one boat going to this island per day and it is a 3 hours ride, so they stayed there for the night. You can find some great locations in her post, from Lake Kavaywan, Paganawam Port, Totongan Cave, breathtaking hideen blue lagoons, landscapes and more. The picture that you see here shows her at the top of Rapang Cliff, a memorable moment for sure ^^ .. _This entry is about the mating game of grouses ^^ @redheadpei was so lucky to observe three ruffed grouse that were moving rapidly through the bushes, followed by a male grouse with the feathers around his neck ruffed up and his tail starting to fan out. It was probably is a young male testing his appeal to the females, as those seem to be not to impressed by this beautiful male displaying his plumage, and the actual mating season will be in full swing in spring.
