Hey mammas! Greetings @elizabeths14 and @marybellrg! Every Wednesday for two long years we have been sharing with the Spanish Motherhood Live Community, through curations and listening to anecdotes from those who attended. In this new stage we bring you topics of interest, as is our custom, to share with you and through your comments tell us anecdotes about it or leave your opinions regardless of whether you agree or not, but we invite you to do so always in a respectful manner.

¡Hola mamás! somos @elizabeths14 y @marybellrg! Cada miércoles durante dos largos años estuvimos compartiendo con la Comunidad de Motherhood en español en Vivo, a través de curaciones y escuchando anécdotas de quienes fueron asistentes. En esta nueva etapa os traemos temas de interés, como es nuestra costumbre, para compartir con vosotros y que a través de vuestros comentarios nos contéis anécdotas al respecto o dejéis vuestras opiniones independientemente de que estéis de acuerdo o no, pero os invitamos a hacerlo siempre de forma respetuosa.

***TEMA: Costumbres y Creencias Navideñas*** Siempre hemos dicho que la crianza es única y exclusivamente de los padres y lo mantenemos. Es muy fácil acusar y responsabilizar únicamente a los padres, cuando su hijo actúa mal. Pero nos cuesta callarnos y dejar de intervenir cuando de la crianza de un hijo que no es nuestro se trata. **¿Por qué decimos esto?** Debido a que las creencias que los padres quieran inculcar a los hijos, también es única y exclusivamente responsabilidad de los padres. En diciembre es muy común escuchar a personas hablar de sus creencias, algunos no creen en la magia de navidad y otros creen en Santa Claus o el niño Jesús. En el caso de los padres, muchos enseñan a sus hijos que uno de estos dos personajes son quienes traen los regalos, otros les dicen que son ellos mismo y así cada familia tiene su creencia y tradición, sin embargo siempre hay terceros tratando de influir en ello. Esta la familia extendida y amigos, son los primeros en dar su opinión sobre qué deberían enseñar y hacer creer o no los padres a los hijos, incluso muchas veces presionan a los padres a decirles "la verdad" a sus pequeños y es aquí donde queremos hacer un punto de reflexión, ya que debemos recordar que la crianza es única y exclusivamente responsabilidad de los padres y si ellos enseñan a sus hijos algo que es verdadero o no, al final las consecuencias sean para bien o mal, también será responsabilidad de ellos. ¿Entonces, por qué forzar a los padres a que hagan con sus hijos como nosotros (los terceros en escena) queremos? Dejemos que la ilusión de la época se mantenga como cada quien lo decida, eso también es una forma de mostrar respeto al prójimo, independiente que estemos de acuerdo o no con sus ideales. Y en especial recordemos que en estas fechas lo más importante es la unión y el amor en el mundo, indistintamente de la creencia de cada individuo. >***TOPIC: Christmas Customs and Beliefs*** >We have always said that parenting is solely and exclusively up to the parents and we stand by that. It is very easy to accuse and blame only the parents when their child acts badly. But it is hard for us to shut up and stop intervening when it comes to raising a child that is not ours. >Why do we say this? Because the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children are also the sole and exclusive responsibility of the parents. >In December it is very common to hear people talk about their beliefs, some do not believe in the magic of Christmas and others believe in Santa Claus or the baby Jesus. In the case of parents, many teach their children that one of these two characters are the ones who bring the gifts, others tell them that it is them and so each family has its own belief and tradition, however there are always third parties trying to influence it. >This extended family and friends, are the first to give their opinion on what parents should teach and make their children believe or not, even many times they pressure parents to tell "the truth" to their children and this is where we want to make a point of reflection, as we must remember that parenting is solely and exclusively the responsibility of parents and if they teach their children something that is true or not, in the end the consequences whether for good or bad, will also be their responsibility. >So, why force parents to do with their children as we (the third parties on the scene) want? Let's let the illusion of the season remain as each one decides, that is also a way to show respect to others, whether we agree or disagree with their ideals. And especially remember that in these dates the most important thing is the union and love in the world, regardless of the belief of each individual.
