Hello to all the members of this wonderful platform, I hope you are having a wonderful day, it is a pleasure for me to be part of this beautiful artistic movement that is growing, my name is Yasbel García Sánchez (@Jeybalthany) and I am a Rapper, Music Producer, Bassoonist (Instrumentalist Musician) and singer (Polyphonic Choir), I live in the city of Pinar del Rio, in the province of the same name belonging to Cuba. Since I was very young I had two great passions in my life which are sports and music, the second one becoming even more consolidated in me. At the age of 9, in 4th grade, I was recruited by cultural centers to sing in a cultural project, even participating as a soloist in a regional children's event as a guest. A year later, I auditioned for the arts school here in the province. While at that school, I became even more inclined to sing, although I had to learn to play the bassoon and piano. I learned a little bit of everything on my own, mainly percussion. However, as I mentioned before, my main interest was singing, so without thinking twice, I decided to join the children's choir at that school. I was there for 5 years until I took and passed the level tests to continue studying at the National School of Music in Havana, where I continued my work on my instrument, in addition to being in the chamber choir of said school for the 4 years of the course where I had performances all over the country. Studying in my second year of college, I began studies in a music production course with a teacher who worked at the school, although it was only for a year, which was not a problem for me since I continued the course going to his house. Since then, it has been somewhat difficult for me to continue with the course since at the beginning, COVID arrived, which made us all confine ourselves at home, causing me to stop my studies until I was able to graduate as an instrumentalist at the end of 2020 and resume my production studies several years later. This whole process has been very difficult for me since since I was little my mother, who has been my main driving force, contracted a degenerative disease called Neuromyelitis Optica, which forced her to be in a wheelchair and doing rehabilitation exercises to improve her condition, even so, I have maintained my dream of becoming a professional singer and producer, with the support of my family, and my wonderful girlfriend who is currently my fiancée Yoana ( @Neneville20 ) who is also on this platform, who in 7 months has been my driving force along with my brother from another mother and artistic duo Marco ( @Althany ) with whom I shared my beginnings in the world of music, building our own music studio and performing throughout the province. I have had the privilege of learning about this platform thanks to @yayasing who told me about it at a rehearsal for the Pinar polyphonic choir and I did not hesitate to have the desire to share my art, I hope you enjoy it.
