Primero vamos hacer las arepas, en un bol colocar agua, una pizca de sal y harina, mezclar hasta obtener una masa compacta y suave, luego hacer la arepas que en el centro le haceremos un huequito para que se puede freír mejor. >First we are going to make the arepas, in a bowl place water, a pinch of salt and flour, mix until obtaining a compact and smooth dough, then make the arepas that we will make a little hole in the center so that they can be fried better.

Ahora colocar aceite en un sarten y freir las arepas dejando que doren por ambos lados. >Now put oil in a pan and fry the arepas, letting them brown on both sides.

Mientras las arepas se doran hacemos la salsa mezclando la mayonesa, salsa de tomate y mostaza y cortamos en rodajas el tomate y los huevos. >While the arepas are browning, make the sauce by mixing the mayonnaise, tomato sauce and mustard and cut the tomato and eggs into slices.

Cuando las arepas estén listas las cortamos y empezamos a agregar por encima la carne desmechada, y el huevo en rodajas. >When the arepas are ready, we cut them and begin to add the shredded meat on top, and the sliced egg.

Luego el tomate, el queso rallado y por último la salsa rosada. >Then the tomato, the grated cheese and finally the pink sauce.

Lista las arepas a disfrutar de este delicioso platillo que a mi esposo y a mi nos encantan, si prefieres puedes hacer las arepas asadas para una versión más sana, pero yo prefiero hacerlas fritas. >Ready the arepas to enjoy this delicious dish that my husband and I love, if you prefer you can make the arepas roasted for a healthier version, but I prefer to make them fried.
