Hola amigos de @beentrepreneur, es un placer enorme intercambiar algunas ideas acerca de cómo hacer nuestros emprendimientos más prósperos.

Tal como les prometí hace unos días, voy a abordar otras aristas acerca de las dificultades que se presentaron en la celebración del aniversario número 49 de la Graduación de Médico del curso de mi esposo

Como les comenté la experiencia que enfrentamos durante el evento reflejó varios aspectos críticos de la gestión empresarial que, si se hubieran manejado adecuadamente, habrían marcado la diferencia entre una experiencia positiva y una decepcionante.

Les voy a hablar en este post solamente de los tropiezos en el almuerzo, y de algunas reflexiones de como según mi punto de vista y la de algunos de los asistentes a la actividad pensamos que los empresarios podrían haber abordado mejor la situación:

1. **Calidad en el Servicio:**

Es fundamental asegurarse de que el servicio ofrecido cumpla con las expectativas del cliente. Es por ello que debemos prepararnos para ofrecer un buen servicio, esto es válido en cualquier situación, en particular en medio de las carencias y funcionamiento adecuado de todos los renglones socioeconómicos del país hay que redoblar la atención. No basta con haber garantizado los insumos, que no fue el caso.

Se debe antes del evento, haber hecho un recorrido por las instalaciones, probado el menú y confirmado la calidad de los platos. La calidad de la comida es crucial, especialmente para un grupo que celebra un evento significativo.

En este aspecto, retomo la importancia de la capacitación del personal, aquellos que estén encargados de servir el almuerzo deben estar bien capacitados en atención al cliente, ser proactivos, atentos y tener la capacidad de manejar situaciones difíciles con sabiduría.

2. **Gestión de Expectativas:**

Todos estábamos muy incómodos con la situación que se había generado, por lo que el retraso del almuerzo empeoró nuestro malestar.

Si nos hubieran dado una explicación o una disculpa sentida, habría calmado nuestros ánimos, al final todos sabemos con las dificultades que se trabaja.

La transparencia y comunicación es vital para reducir las inconformidades y malestares.

También debido a tantos desajustes y desaciertos en todo lo pactado para la actividad, era importante ofrecer alguna compensación, un descuento, u otro servicio, como una disculpa por el no cumplimiento de los estándares acordados, estos gestos pudieran ayudar a mitigar la insatisfacción.

En general es crucial cuando asumes un compromiso, además de cumplir con lo que se acuerda, tener presente para que público se va a trabajar, en este caso al ser para personas mayores, sé debió considerar opciones de menú adecuadas, un ambiente cómodo, la accesibilidad al área reservada etc.

Los empresarios deben recordar que la comodidad y el bienestar de sus clientes son prioridades, especialmente para grupos de mayor edad, realizar encuestas previas al evento para entender las expectativas y necesidades de los asistentes puede ser una herramienta valiosa, que permitiría hacer ajustes necesarios antes del evento.

En nuestro caso, se debió asegurar que no existieran otros eventos programados en el mismo lugar al mismo tiempo. La logística de dos eventos simultáneamente puede generar confusiones y comprometer la atención y el servicio hacia cada grupo. Una planificación adecuada ayuda a evitar la saturación y asegura que cada evento obtenga la atención que merece.

En caso de que sea inevitable realizar múltiples eventos, se deben asignar recursos suficientes para atender adecuadamente a todos los grupos, asegurando así una experiencia de calidad.

En situaciones como la que se vivió, lo fundamental es establecer un enfoque centrado en el cliente. Cada error o inconveniente brinda una oportunidad para aprender y crecer. La atención al detalle, la comunicación efectiva y la consideración por las necesidades del cliente son elementos clave para construir una reputación sólida y a largo plazo.

It is not enough to have guaranteed the supplies, which was not the case.

Before the event, a tour of the facilities must be made, the menu must be tasted and the quality of the dishes must be confirmed. The quality of the food is crucial, especially for a group celebrating a significant event.

In this aspect, I return to the importance of staff training, those who are in charge of serving lunch must be well trained in customer service, be proactive, attentive and have the ability to handle difficult situations wisely.

2. **Management of Expectations**.

We were all very uncomfortable with the situation that had arisen, so the lunch delay made our discomfort worse.

If we had been given an explanation or a heartfelt apology, it would have calmed our spirits, in the end we all know the difficulties of working with.

Transparency and communication is vital to reduce discomfort and dissatisfaction.
