Rencana untuk menghadiri 1st Meet Up Komunitas Steemit Indonesia (KSI) Chapter Gayo telah saya susun sebelumnya. Saya bertekad hadir karena menyadari betapa pentingnya menghadiri Meet Up dan berbagai keuntungan yang bisa didapatkan. Sebenarnya, acara Meet Up di Takengon berbenturan dengan jadwal kemah dan liputan saya bersama rekan-rekan jurnalis. Dari Aceh Timur, saya telah tiba sehari sebelum acara Meet Up. Saya berangkat bersama Cek Mad (Harian Waspada), Maulana Amri (Harian Rakyat Aceh) dan Mulani (Staf Humas Pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Timur. Dari Lhokseumawe ada dua rekan yang hadir yaitu Rahmat Mirza (Pelita8) dan Arif (Freelance Photographer). Kemudian dari Banda Aceh ada Munandar (Net TV), Irwansyah Putra (Antara Foto), Chaideer Mahyuddin (AFP) dan Aprizal (iNews TV). Kami mendirikan kemah di pinggir Danau Laut Tawar di Takengon. Jaraknya lumayan jauh dari pusat kota, sekitar 7 kilometer. Keesokan harinya, kami berencana melakukan liputan pacuan kuda tradisional gayo di Pegasing dan saya berniat akan menghadiri acara Meet Up di Gedung Pendari, Takengon, pada siang harinya. Namun karena ada sedikit masalah, akhirnya saya terlambat datang. Beruntung, saya bisa menghadiri acara ngopi bersama stemian, di Warung Kopi Bumi Aceh. Disana, banyak informasi dan ilmu yang saya dapatkan dari beberapa stemian senior seperti @ayijufridar, @zainalbakri, @abduhawab, @kemal13, @rismanrachman, @razack-pulo dan @bahagia-arbi serta @jodipamungkas. Saya tidak menyia-nyiakan kesempatan tersebut. Obrolan demi obrolan yang bermanfaat saya simak baik-baik. Sesekali, saya melemparkan beberapa pertanyaan kepada para stemian senior yang ada disana. Terlebih, disana juga ada duo kurator Indonesia @aiqabrago dan @levycore. Acara ngopi bersama berakhir sekitar pukul 20.30 WIB dan kami pun bubar. Obrolan dan sharing informasi kembali berlanjut disana. Sejenak, api unggun dan jagung bakar menghangatkan suasana para stemian yang berkumpul disana. Kota Takengon dikenal memiliki cuaca yang sangat dingin. Cuaca disana berkisar antara 14 hingga 17 derajat celcius. Celakanya, jaket saya tertinggal di mobil. Cukup lama saya bertahan di tengah keadaaan itu. Akhirnya, saya pamit sekitar pukul 01.00 tengah malam dan dengan berat hati meninggalkan kehangatan yang masih tersisa disana. Saya pun menuju lokasi kemah dan tiba disana saat rekan-rekan jurnalis sudah tertidur.

Actually, the Meet Up in Takengon clashed with my camp schedule and coverage with my fellow journalists. From East Aceh, I arrived a day before the Meet Up event. I went with Cek Mad (Waspada Daily), Maulana Amri (Rakyat Aceh) and Mulani (Public Relation Officer of East Aceh Regency) From Lhokseumawe there were two colleagues present namely Rahmat Mirza (Pelita8) and Arif (Freelance Photographer). Luckily, I was able to attend a coffee event with stemian, at Bumi Aceh Coffee shop. There, a lot of information and knowledge that I get from some senior stemian like @ayijufridar, @zainalbakri, @abduhawab, @kemal13, @rismanrachman, @razack-pulo, @bahagia-arbi and @jodipamungkas. I did not waste the opportunity. Chat for a useful chat I see carefully. Every now and then, I throw some questions at the senior stemans who are there. Moreover, there is also the duo of the curator of Indonesia @aiqabrago and @levycore. The joint coffee event ended at around 20:30 pm and we were disbanded. Chat and information sharing resumed there. For a moment, the bonfire and roasted corn warmed the stench of the stemians gathered there. Takengon city is known to have very cold weather. Weather there ranged from 14 to 17 degrees celcius.Celakanya, my jacket left in the car. Long enough I survive in the middle of that situation. Finally, I say goodbye at about 1:00 midnight and reluctantly leave the warmth that remains there. I went to the camp site and arrived there when my fellow journalists had fallen sleep.
