# What is THE Cartel? We are a day one cartel in the steem blockchain based game "DrugWars" (@drugwars) where you goal is to increase drug production and receive Steem beneficaries according to the motto "GET PAID TO RULE YOUR WORLD". The idea of "THE Cartel" grew while thinking about what happens when another stronger player attacks and robs you from all your resources... and this constantly. Who you gonna call??? The answer is easy. All that was needed was a collaboration of people who love playing this game as a community and have no problem helping each other. We sat together and talked things out in which direction "THE Cartel" should be heading. And this here is the way... --- ## The community project "THE Cartel" a.k.a. "Our offer you can't refuse" As things look now, every user has to pay "protection money" to be a part of "THE Cartel" (at least 1 Steem, more is optional). With the Steem accumulated so far, we were able to give our community account a headstart on DrugWars. The beneficiaries gathered through DrugWars will be split through every member in the cartel based on the amount of Steem they paid.
