Hola querido hiver. Tenía pendiente recorrer esta senda desde que publiqué mi [paseo por Muel](https://peakd.com/@palomap3/paseando-por-muel-el-pueblo-de-la-ceramica-strolling-through-muel-the-pottery-village). Se trata de un camino que transcurre paralelo al cauce del río [Huerva](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Río_Huerva), uno de los afluentes del [Ebro](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ebro) que desembocan en Zaragoza. ![IMG_9829.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/palomap3/23uFeA4P2oys1MuzGP8r5km5vviVBa7eMi6rikjMGEUdvUXeszeGfwybY2hwdBCBbSMnp.JPG) ![IMG_9832.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/palomap3/Eou8Jc4xW6ofDtrSHST8iiws3V6GN8VrV87e71uPXsX6JAfWUoWZjfqoCHwBF2gxRMa.JPG) Según el cartel informativo que encontramos al inicio del camino, este sendero se ha rehabilitado sin intervención de maquinaria pesada por un grupo de voluntarios. El punto de comienzo está junto al puente sobre el río a la altura de Muel, muy cerca de su [ermita de Nuestra Señora de la Fuente](https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@palomap3/ermita-de-la-virgen-de-la-fuente-en-muel-hermitage-of-the-virgen-de-la-fuente-in-muel). ![IMG_9833.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/palomap3/EoK5uW3mNqCCuLvR5R8cTccR7jH9pfymhsrcDkwTtHnRoCFMG8ah9eixh5Q4EFxt21k.JPG) ![IMG_9835.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/palomap3/EoEp2rgVHGhJiu4vBtyLv5dwPnHE71g6i5VZzrvuuyk8qoncqFePWuEZMX81smoQgww.JPG) Aunque se camina por la margen derecha del Huerva todo el tiempo, el río en ocasiones desaparece de la vista y podemos disfrutar de la espesa sombra que ofrecen los árboles y del característico [soto de ribera](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosques_galería_en_España) de esta zona mediterránea. El día que dimos este paseo hacía mucho calor, de hecho vinimos con la intención de escapar del asfalto de la ciudad. No había visto nunca uno con el tronco de ese diámetro. De las opciones que me da el reconocimiento de imágenes del móvil la que más se le parece es la [Erythrina variegata](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erythrina_variegata), pero no estoy segura. No tenía flores, por lo que no he podido compararlas. Las cañas que aparecen a la izquierda de la foto de abajo separan el sendero de unos campos de labor adyacentes. En algunos tramos encontramos [zarzamoras](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubus_ulmifolius) cuyas flores ya comenzaban a transformarse en frutos. La plataforma hormigonera formaba una diminuta cascada que provocaba ese rumor del agua tan relajante. Se mantuvo ahí posando para mí por unos segundos, uno de esos momentos mágicos que invitan a que la imaginación vuele cuando desaparecen. También estaba presente el [hipérico](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypericum_perforatum). The day we took this walk was very hot, in fact we came with the intention of escaping the asphalt of the city. I had never seen one with a trunk of that diameter. Of the options given to me by the image recognition on my cell phone, the one that most closely resembles it is [Erythrina variegata](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erythrina_variegata), but I'm not sure. It didn't have any flowers, so I couldn't compare them. The reeds on the left side of the photo below separate the path from some adjacent farm fields. In some sections, we found [blackberries](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubus_ulmifolius) whose flowers were already beginning to turn into fruit. The concrete platform formed a tiny waterfall that created a soothing sound. It stayed there posing for me for a few seconds, one of those magical moments that invite the imagination to fly when they disappear.
