It's time to change pace a little bit and have some fun! If you are involved in the anti-abuse efforts on the blockchain, you will probably understand what I am getting at. I will have more time during my time off work to bring you some other exciting ways people come up to make Steemit less pleasant for everyone.
I have used the following templates and captioned these memes:
1. We are all just waiting for the next wave
2. There exists bid bots that vote on anything
3. Them silly justifications
4. What probably (or not) goes on in abusers' minds
5. How abusers think they are clever
6. Not enough VP to deal with a lot of times...
7. 20 flags later...
I think these seven memes have touched bases with my experience traversing through entities such as @steemcleaners, @steemflagrewards, @sadkitten, etc. While I believe in the mission of fighting abuse, I also realistically recognize that it is not the long-term solution to the issues we deal with daily.
Ideally, these communities come up with containment strategies while the Witnesses, and even STINC, come up with changes that could limit the observed abuses.
In the meantime, I will continue to spend time with these communities and chuckle at the all so common excuses such as this guy:
I laugh. Then, I die a little inside. Then, I laugh again because it's just all so absurd.
