Rohn: It Only Takes 6 Steps to Plan Your Success

Our results are just as good as our plan.

His teacher, Earl Schof, taught me that what happens does not determine the bulk of our future - because what happens happens to all of us. Instead, teach me that the key is what we do about it. If we start the process of change by developing a plan, do something different next year than we did the previous year, it does not matter how small those efforts begin. Start doing different things with the same set of conditions - those that we always have and can not change - and see what miracles happen. If we start a miracle process and change ourselves, then everything changes. And: the difference between failure and success is subtle.

Let me explain by giving you the definition of failure and success: failure is a few of the repeated judgment errors every day. The man says, "Well, I did not walk around in the block today and did not kill me, so it must be OK." No, no, this is a kind of error in judgment that after six years of breathing and breath he walks from his car to his office. You can not make those kinds of mistakes. It will not cost you.

Now, here is my definition of success: a few simple disciplines are practiced every day. Do you see discrimination? Some specialties ... Here is a small phrase we all heard, "Apple Daily keeps the doctor away." My question to you is "What if this is true?" How simple and easy is that plan?

The truth is, when we look at successful people, they will almost always discover a plan behind their success. They know what they want and are working on a plan that will get them where they want to go, and they work their plan. It is the foundation of success.

As humans, we have the unique ability to influence change in our lives. It is through our conscious choice when we participate in the miracle process of personal development that we are able to transform our nature and our lives.

I want this year to be a success for you - a dashing success, we know that this means you need a plan, and then a systematic work that plan. The combination of materials, your open attitude towards learning and diligence to follow a plan that is right for you will make this year the kind of success we know you want to be. So let me challenge you to be less frank, no less committed to advancing your philosophy, your set of sail, your plan.

So, what are some good ideas to develop a plan that will work well and take you to the finish line strongly? Here are five key points to keep in mind:

1. Develop the right plan for you.

Some people are very detail-oriented and are able to closely follow a complex plan. Others are less detail-oriented, which is also good.

So what is the right plan? Plan that suits you. Each of us is unique and motivated by different factors, and you've got to develop a plan that is right for you and fits you. Some plans will not be as complex as others, but we all have to have a plan, along with goals in that plan, to take us along. If you are a free spirit, do not tell yourself you are going to spend two hours a day with a book and magazine. Maybe it will not happen and you will only get frustrated. Whatever your personality, your strengths and weaknesses, put a plan around them. This is not a one-size-fits-all proposal.

2. Create times to spend on it.

It may be every Sunday night. It may be 20 minutes every morning or when lunch is in before bed. You may be in the car listening to CDs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Whatever it is, set the times and do so. In your step by step plan, put down the points that you can accomplish each week. They should be specific and achievable. Develop discipline and take those steps every day, which will lead you closer to your goals.

3. Maintain the journal.

Without notes. Mr. Shouf taught me not to trust my memory, but to write it, to find one place to collect information that affects change. This advice has served me well all these years. Record the thoughts and inspiration that will carry you from where you are to where you want to be. Take notes about ideas that affect you the most. Put down your thoughts and thoughts. Share ideas with yourself on where you are going and what you want to do. Record your dreams and ambitions. Your magazines are a gathering place for all the valuable information that you will find. If you are serious about becoming rich, strong, sophisticated, healthy, influential, educated and unique, if you come across something important, write it down. Two people will listen to or read the same article and different ideas will come to each one. Use the information you collect and record it for more reflection, for future discussion and to weigh the value that is yours.

4. Reflect.

Create time to think - time to go again, to study again the things you learned and the things you have done every day. I call it "run tapes back" even today

5 . Act on your plan.

. Act on your plan. What separates the successful from the unsuccessful many times is that the success is simply done. They are not necessarily smarter than others. They just work plan. Working time is when passion is strong. Here's what happens if you do not: Law diminishes intention. We intend to act when the idea intervenes when emotions are high, but if we delay and do not translate that into action soon, the intention begins to shrink and shrink and the month from now is cold and a year from now can not be found. Even the preparation of discipline when the idea is strong, clear and strong, this is the time to work plan. You must capture emotion and put it into disciplined activities and translate it into equity. Here's what's interesting: all disciplines affect each other. Everything affects everything. That is why smaller work is important - because the value and benefits you receive from this little work will inspire you to do the next one and the next ... so step and take action on your plan, because if the plan is good, then the results can be a miracle.
