I have been getting a lot of questions in regards to what the #anarchapulco conference actually is, and what it represents. Since many potential contestants have not been to the conference before, I decided to create this article to provide a little clarity.

Anarchapulco is an anarchy conference, where revolutionary projects and movements are promoted and presented, along with cryptocurrency and investment education. There are also dope live music events there, along with awesome beaches, pools, and markets. I have never in my life met so many like minded, yet also unique conscious people together in one place, that are actually making strides to save the planet and help humanity. Not even at a music festival or rainbow gathering have I experienced this degree of conscious collaboration and progression of positive manifestation.

To understand the conference, first you must understand anarchy. There are many different types of anarchism, but the type of anarchy that is mainly presented at #anarchapulco is Anarcho-Capitalism. Anarchy itself is a broader umbrella term that covers all its sub-sects, and is most commonly defined "in terms of a rejection of hierarchies, agro-capitalism, racism, and sexism, and a social view of freedom, in which access to material resources and the liberty of others are prerequisites to personal freedom and a prefigurative commitment to embodying goals in one's methods" (1), or more simply put "a condition of a society, entity, group of people, or a single person that rejects hierarchy, and believes in self ownership." (1).

Anarcho-Capitalists at #anarchapulco describe their anarchist philosophy as volunteerist, stateless, and in favor of promotion of truth that exposes cover-ups and injustices. More properly defined Anarcho-capitalism is "a political philosophy and school of anarchist thought, that advocates the elimination of centralized state dictum in favor of self-ownership, private property, and free markets" (2).
I personally lean towards the anarcho-mutualist side, since ararcho-capitolism in more about individualistic competition over mutual cooperation, however I am still a novice in this realm, and in all honesty I do not really consider myself an "anything-ist", I am just me :-).
Here is a fantastic mini-documentary by @jeffberwick about #anarchapulco, and all the wonderful people and ideas the conference supports. Click pic below to play:
Anarcho-Capitalism's symbol is usually a simple yellow and black stamp or circle with a slash separating the two colors, however I have also included another rendition of a symbol for Anarcho-Capitalism pictured below:

My favorite version of any anarchy symbol is the anarcho-mutualist symbol, which is NOT the main type of anarchy apparent at this conference. I do not see any reason why it cannot be worked into an #anarchapulco logo anyway, these are all just ideas for inspiration. What do you think about this symbol (pictured below)?

I hope this article was able to provide a little more clarity on what Anarchapulco actually is for the design contestants. If you have any further questions, please feel free to comment below or contact me via Discord.

I also wanted to give a shot-out to my fellow #steemsilvergold member @pit-bullion, for creating these awesome anarchy 2 oz. silver hexagons. I hope to have a few of these at my vending stand during #anarchapulco this February, along with some of his hand-poured STEEM silver rounds.
