The advice goes out to myself as well. I do not consider myself a 100% healthy eater. I also used to be more carnivorous and would shun any veggie dishes. That has changed much over the years. Nowadays, I try my best to eat less meat and go for more veggies. Still, I feel the need to count my calories. I'm not into any diet plans. I find that restrictive. But I do watch what I eat and remind myself constantly to eat healthy. That's one reason I have taken a fancy to salad dishes.
I also experiment with making my own salad dish once in a while. Like in this case, I have some lettuce on hand. I added diced apples, grapes, and sliced kiwi. I also bought a bottle of Caesar salad dressing before the holidays and used that for my homemade salad. I did add a bit of sliced cooked ham for more flavor. Well, I enjoyed my lunch as it was really yummy! _
