It's my 15th day here at Steemit, but I feel as if it was a month long already. I've posted an introduction on my first day but I don't know what to say at that time. So let me re-introduce myself XD
My real name is Annadel Cinco, I am known as "adelair" or "ARTdelair". I am a Computer Engineer but right after I graduated I enrolled on an institution for design. So I studied for 5 yrs in Engineering and another 2 yrs in Design (sounds like I love school huh) XD

I can really say that I love drawing ever since I was a kid. Anime was one of the reasons why I wanted to pursue an art career (because I wanted to be an animator). But right after highschool I decided that I would be a game artist and wanted to publish my very own game in the future.
But yeah life was tough, I can't afford to enroll on digital art school but I got scholarship from DOST so I went to study Computer Engineering. And right after college I saved enough money from my allowance from DOST and I applied for scholarship and enrolled myself on Design. I thought, "This isn't bad, I can now code my game, paint and create 3d for the art assets. It's like a win-win for me"
Back to my journey, I can't totally remember the year I started drawing but this are few samples of my artwork while I was in grade school:

High School:

College:

And during college I started creating my own Characters. (but no backstories)
2011
Davin Wyatt

2012
Left: Unnamed up until now
Right: Yahiko (my character design from one of my voluntary work)

And on 2013 I started to introduce myself to semi realistic art style. This was also the time I got into the Design institution. I learn how to create animation, 3d, and other cool stuff XD

2014, I started getting the hang of it

2015 is when I drew nothing decent. I got busy with my last semester at school and at the same time I already got a job as a graphic designer but I wasn't happy at all, so...
2016 I finally quit the job and went back to painting. Since I was not able to paint much last 2015, I started to practice again. But this was the most critical year of my life. I got depressed!

Even if I painted this much last 2016, I really thought it's still not enough. I keep saying "I am still not good enough for a client". I am such a coward!
Until 2017 came. I just went YOLO, posted a commission info saying I am available for freelance work. It wasn't easy at first. They don't know who I am in the industry, I am like an atom level compared to the professional concept artists around me. But one client came, followed by another and another until a lot came for work.

I also randomly grab my pen tab and create new character designs for fun

I also created this meme, I got the template from facebook (sorry I was not able to trace where this template originally came from)

And just late 2017, I applied for an apprenticeship to one of the best concept artist and illustrator in the industry. He is one of the artists of CD Projekt Red and PUBG Inc.
I can't just say it's my luck because I have to give credit to my hard work as well, it's not easy painting those art test to pass , you know XD I summoned every art-cell in my body. It's like my ultimate battle of the century. And you know what, I GOT IT! I was the chosen ONE. *crying all tears out
And this year 2018, I am currently working under him. I can't show any of my artwork at the moment because it's on Non Disclosure Agreement. But I can't wait to share to you my latest personal works guys XD I'll be posting them soon.
And I'll be rendering artworks also from my sketch collection

And to give you a recap, here's another meme "art vs artist" last April

There's still so much to say but I don't want to make this post a diary, so let's just keep it this way <3
I hope you guys learned something about me!
See you again next time!
