Hey hey hey ! Bright new day #artists ! When I am stressed , which sometimes happens more often than I like to admit , I go to my best friend: ART. I started to draw with dots in my early childhood. I still remember the first rainbow made out of dots. I enjoyed it so much, but the other kids looked at me like: Gosh , your parents must be forcing you to draw like this. And I was like: no, I actually really #love doing this! #geekandweirdandhappyaboutit lol
When I want to start a pointillist drawing, I leave my mind blank. Like...a state of complete empty bliss. And then, after I clear my head of the pressure of creating something in particular..the idea arrives. #creativity is a good friend when you sit in silence, it will visit you when there is no more pressure
With this drawing I started to think about love. And of course...A heart came into my mind. After that I told to myself...It's too simple. And at that time I was going through some struggles. And I started to think that I am grateful that I can be able to withstand difficulties. So that's how the bonsai tree appeared in the drawing. A bonsai tree can live for many many years. A true warrior in front of the harsh passing of time.
I worked almost 30 hours stippling this. Funny thing, when I do pointillism, the more I draw, the more I feel that the tip of my isograph is too small. I currently use a 0.25 mm, but I really would love to buy a 0.1 someday. The smaller the better is with pointillism art:))
I am really enjoying how it looks, I even had it printed on a tshirt and I was like omg this is my art? I never say my drawings printed on a shirt. Ever. This drawing is a first on that matter.
I love how all the hard hours of keeping focus on just drawing pays up in the end. It's what fuels my fire: the end result. Guys zoom zoom zooom in on the pictures of my drawing, you won't find a spot that isn't covered with dots. And I am so proud of that:)))) #dotqueen
Here is a link to the final result on my Youtube channel, hope you like this guys and that I made your day a bit more better during these sucky corona virus days lol:)) #staypositive
