Aujourd'hui, je vais vous montrer un step by step d'une illustration réalisée l'année passée pour le Character Design Challenge dont le thème était "Pokemon". J'ai choisi de faire un fan art de Cancrelove (Pheromosa)

I began with a quick sketch with Photoshop, something very simple. I added all the details with the colors. I wanted to make something very soft and silky ...
J'ai démarré d'un croquis très rapide, juste une base pour la suite. J'ai ajouté les détails, à l'aide de la couleur. Je voulais un rendu doux et soyeux, comme une fourrure... :-). J'ai fait cette illu directement sur Photoshop, sans passer par un crayonné...
I first put flat colors, to have a general color range. Then, I made the face, and the volumes of the body, and the fur...
Je suis ensuite passée à la mise en couleur, mon étape préférée :-)
J'ai commencé par poser des aplats de couleur, pour donner le ton général, puis j'ai détaillé le visage, et ensuite ébauché les volumes du corps et de la fourrure...
And after a few last adjustments and color balance, here is the final result:
