This isnt my first time doing such detailed and complex artwork, of course doodles but this is my first time doing it with text.

At first it was kinda tiring and boring but when i started applying ink to the draft, it became just the same as with doodling. Yes, fun and at the same time you can express what you feel and what you want to share wt others easily.

So whats the difference between doodling and calligram?

In my own perception, the two styles are quite similar. Similar in the sense that both art consists of compacted objects to create 1 art piece.

The only difference is that, doodling consists of both doodle characters and sometimes text. While calligram should only consist of text forming the desired object or symbol.

Now lets tackle about the message behind this artwork. We all know that this generation is the digital generation, in which the considered as the most important thing in the whole universe by now is information or data.

Information that could save or end the world, make medicines, nuclear plants, cure diseases and sometimes used to hide vaults, treasures, important files and many more.

But sometimes information could be fraud, depending on the credibility of the sources. Information could be wrong or manipulated and might cause risk to people. Thats why there's Information and media literacy.

This enables people to evaluate and create critical judgments as users of information and media, and also to become good creators and producers of information and media messages in their own right.

Being an information and media literate youth means to know how engage in a digital society; to be able to understand, inquire, create, communicate and think critically.

Also, its very important to effectively access, evaluate, analyze, and create messages in any media.

So in the calligram I included some things to do to be an information and media literate individual and I focused on us, youth since we are the most vulnerable when it comes to this kind of things and I believe that the youth is the future of the nation thats why in order to attain that goal, we need to start thinking critically about what is really happening in our society especially in digital
