The beauty of working on a painting are hiding in uncertainty. I never have an idea how my painting will look in the final appearance. I do not know which elements I will choose or what atmosphere painting will have. I like to improvise and watch for a long time what I made and than think about what needs to be added or taken away.
In this case, the most improvisation was with the shape of the field, or with the course of the paths that are in the landscape itself. Wolves are added at the end. They occupy only a small area of the picture, but they are crucial in determining the mood that this painting has.
Lepota bavljenja slikarstvom je u njegovoj neizvesnosti. Nikad nemam predstavu kako će slika izgledati u konačnoj verziji. Osim što ne znam ni za koje elemente ću se odlučiti ne znam ni kojom atmosferom će da odiše. Volim da improvizujem i dugo posmatram ono što sam dobio kako bih razmislio šta treba još dodati ili oduzeti.
U ovom slučaju najviše improvizacije je bilo sa formom terena odnosno sa tokom staza koje se nalaze u samom pejzažu. Vukovi su dodati tek na kraju. Oni zauzimaju samo malu površinu slike ali su ključni u određivanju raspoloženja koje ova slika ima.
