The first time octopus caught my attention was from one of the 007 movie series：Octopussy. The main-actress use a octopus as her logo, which gave me a very deep impression. I remembered I saw this movie when I was in elementary school.
This weekend I brought kids to swim meet. On the road I usually let kids listen to the podcast to kill the on-car-time. The podcast told us about octopus. I knew few about this sea animal and never eat it. But I do like to eat octopus relatives: squid and cuttlefish. When I was young I remembered that my parents got a special white bone from the head of cuttlefish. They grand it to powder and mix it with toothpaste. I was asked to use this mixture to brush my teeth. I was told this powder could keep my teeth white.
Let's go back to the podcast. I heard some information which shock me a lot. Octopus has nine heads and three hearts. Can you imagine that! Its eight legs was controlled by each brain separately. it has memory and IQ is high.
Some species of octopus can grow very huge. King octopus is often mistaken for sea monsters.
When I came home I drew this octopus for fun. I felt disgusting because I didn't like this kind of animals. I focused on the suction cups which made me feel better. Twenty minutes drawing practice. My two little boys love it. They are not scared of octopus but I do.
八爪鱼给我最早的印象是007中的一部007之八爪鱼，剧中女主以剧毒八爪鱼为自己的logo，厉害得不得了。在此之前，我从来都把这种多腿动物叫作章鱼。
周末带娃长途比赛，车上听儿子喜欢的podcast，有一集讲章鱼，想着我就起鸡皮疙瘩，我对一些动物与生俱来就😱，但是对吃它们毫不含糊。想想以前司门口（武汉）前的烤鱿鱼，五块钱一整只，串在竹签上，味道不要太鲜美，口水又下来了。鱿鱼，章鱼，墨鱼谁来给科普一下，到底啥区别。只记得吃过墨鱼仔，炸鱿鱼圈，烤鱿鱼，好像没吃过章鱼呀。还有墨鱼脑袋里的白色墨鱼骨，小时候记得大人用这个磨成粉给我们刷牙，说有美白牙齿的作用。
先不说吃了，说说podcast，我竟然听到这样一句，章鱼有九个脑袋，三个心脏！妈呀，这是外星生物啊！而且它的脑袋都在爪子上，所以每个爪子是分别控制的，我的个神啊！动物界真奇妙。科学家发现章鱼是很聪明的动物，是啊，九个脑袋了，还不聪明？章鱼有记忆力，还会使用工具，我估摸着，章鱼得算海洋世界里最聪明的动物之一了。而且人家那分别控制的腿还不会相互打架，这得多好的协调能力，我家两个娃天天打得昏天黑地的，人家八个，互相协作，尽然有序。
一直以为海洋里这些奇奇怪怪的动物都是智商低下的，没想到章鱼外表虽然恶心，但头脑还不简单，动物也不可貌像啊！
章鱼个头有很大的，可以长达几十米，有种叫大王章鱼的，被渔民们当作海怪，想想是可怕啊，这么巨大的章鱼，一条腿伸到船上去，东西都被它扫光了。
回家无聊，花了二十分钟画了只章鱼，画完突然一哆嗦，我到底画了几条腿啊？好像是八条，对吧。
画的时候都不能忍住我的恶心，还好我转移注意力，圈那些吸盘，我圈圈圈圈圈，好像能够克服我画的时候的不适感。儿子超级兴奋，好吧，下次再听个啥动物，老妈再给你们画。

这是突尼斯人用来捕捉章鱼的陶罐。大口，小肚子，利用章鱼喜欢钻洞的天性，突尼斯渔民把这种罐子用绳子系住，放到海底，过一会捞起来，就会发现有钻进去休息的章鱼。这个挺好，连诱饵都不用放，比我们用笼子抓螃蟹要省心多了。
They use clay pots. All the pots have large rim and small bellies. the octopus likes to drill holes in nature. The Tunisian fishermen tied the jar and put it to the bottom of the sea. After a while they pull the pot back and octopus will stay inside the pot for rest. Tunisians fishermen are so smart. Without bate they can catch octopus.
