Art supplies for the Earth Rangers' Green Art Box

We had an exceptionally great day today working with the Earth Rangers of Teken Quarter in Mile 4 Nkwen, Bamenda Cameroon.
The day started as early as 12 noon with the exceptional coordination of Earth Rangers Esther and Suzzy who coordinated the other Earth Rangers to participate in some cooperative games that involved singing.
They were later joined by @mr-greens but the rains did not permit them to continue their activities in their open space where they are currently creating a Tree Nursery. As such, they moved to @mr-greens residence where @mr-greens first of all appreciated Earth Rangers Esther and Suzzy for their exceptional leadership skills, by giving them chocolate.


@mr-greens later presented the Earth Rangers with the Art supplies @thegreens acquired for the Earth Rangers program.
The art supplies comprised of paint brushes, markers, glue, crayons, water paint, an art supply box, scissors, papers, etc.
These supplies were then put in the Green Art Box.

What is the Green Art Box?

As part of the Earth Rangers program this summer holiday, @thegreens acquired an art box that is equiped with art supplies which will circulated among all the 22 Earth Rangers to draw diverse environmental art at their homes.
This week, our focus is to encourage the Earth Rangers to draw their themselves in their Environmental Paradise; in the kind of planet they want.
The Green Art Box was handed over to Ainshley, Suzzy and Miranda and on Thursday, we will start publishing amazing Earth Rangers Art.

The Earth Rangers received the Green Art Box with alot of enthusiasm and are very optimistic in unleashing their creativity in the days ahead.
Other tasks the Earth Rangers are currently engaged in include the creation of an Environmental Song or Poem: They have also been grouped to act some very exciting environmental drama and on Nelson Mandela day, they will show case their environmental creativity to the members of the community.

@thegreens is currently engaged in Waste Management (Waste Business Hub); Plastic Waste Upcycling, Tire Upcycling and Textile Waste Recycling via @ecodesigns.
Her #EndPlasticPollution Campaign has seen the organization sensitize more than 100,000 people about plastic pollution, upcycled more than 10,000 plastic bottles to create UPB Vertical Gardens, UPB Tree Nursery Pots, etc.
Her Textile Recycling Project (@ecodesigns) is currently training 13 young girls for free in textile recycling and fashion designing and has recycled more than 5000 pounds of textile waste.
Her Tire Upcycling Project is educating and engaging young people in schools and communities to #StopBurningTires and upcycle them to create Mushroom Tire Seats, Tire Flower Pots, etc
