I still take part in the Instagram competition, in which everyone draws rare animals.
Atlantic walrus is a vanishing species of the Barents Sea ecoregion. It is listed in the Red Book and is considered one of the most vulnerable inhabitants of the Arctic. In summer and autumn walruses gather on the banks, and in winter and spring they live on ice, where they start a family and raise children.
But because of the growing activity of oil companies, the ice cover is sharply reduced, the climate is changing and polluted by the environment, therefore the quantity of walruses is reduced.
