Good morning! It's painting time again!!!
This month's 'Painting at the Library' session was winter-themed!
As usual, we had a lovely mommy/daughter bonding time and enjoyed ourselves immensely!
Let's get right to it! First of all, here is my painting! I was very nervous to paint that deer, but to my astonishment, it actually looks like a deer!! Haha! Most people were painting deer with antlers, but I didn't want to mess mine up, and it does look decidedly female. ;)
We started with the background, then made the silver 'background trees'. After that came the black 'foreground trees'. Next we painted our deer, and then we went nuts with the sparkly dots, or 'snow'.
@SnekLady also did an awesome job. However, she decided midway that she would much rather NOT paint a stag. Instead, she had a better idea...
Of course, everyone LOVED her unique take on the painting. :D
This picture really DOES look better in person. I tried to capture the sparkliness of it all, but that is just not coming through the lens... The deer and unicorn are painted with glittery white paint:
To top it off, at the end we all got to douse our paintings with fine, gold glitter! The pictures really sparkle in person!
That about wraps it up! We had a fabulous time painting together!

Thanks for stopping by!! Let me know what you think of our paintings! Next month's painting will be an old red pickup truck with a fresh-cut Christmas tree in the back! I can't wait!
Have a lovely day!! ♥
