Artists In Bloom ~ Skyylar's Art
My daughter, Skyylar, is always creating little artsy things. There are quite a few drawings that she has done recently as well as a little book that she made for her school librarian, that I keep meaning to post on Steemit, but just haven't yet. But, I did manage to get photos of a couple things she did yesterday & today that I can share with you.
Today she created a mini easel out of toothpicks for a mini piece of art that she created a couple years ago. It's actually an "inchie" which is a 1 inch x 1 inch (mini) artist trading card. I was creating quite a few of these a couple years ago when I was active with the "ACTS for All" website, and she decided to create a few herself.
Yesterday her friend came over for a while and they both painted a few rocks to hide at some local parks, and they also each did some paintings. Skyylar painted a rock like a strawberry and she did some fingerprint art - like little pineapples. Her friend created a painting of a waterfall. And, together they painted a rock that was half "devil" and have "angel". You can see it in one of the photos.
