Hello dear @everlove, this is my work for gallery 6 of #artistsinbloom. This time I painted an Aragüaney, this is the national tree of my country Venezuela. This week I went to the place where I practice swimming and there were 2 Aragüaney flowers, I confess that I had never seen them up close, it seemed so beautiful that I decided to paint it, and this was the result. I hope you like it.
To paint it I used cold paint, and tempera.
Here's the evolution of my butterfly.
First I painted the grass and the sky, and let it dry. Then I painted the stem of the tree and let it dry. and finally I painted the flowers of the Aragüaney and the red flowers of the garden.
