I was up pretty early this morning. My son was up also and wanted to walk to Starbucks for breakfast. I checked to see if they were open today since it was Easter. They were opening at 5:30 am and since we had a few minutes (we were up since 4), we decided to walk part way around the neighborhood then walk down to Starbucks. I took a few photos along the way! The first three photos are from my front garden. I had to use a flash because, go figure, it was still dark out.
This next photo was taken by the nursing home up the street. Some "pretty purple pansies"..how's that for a short little tongue twister?!
I found some yellow ones as well.
Just look at this beautiful sky and (bonus) not a car in sight.
We reached our destination. There was one car in the drive-thru but I think we may have been the first walk in customers.
These next three photos were taken on our way back.
The redbud tree across from my house is blooming and is so pretty.
A couple more photos taken in my yard. Looks like it is going to be another banner year for the bleeding hearts.
I took these photos of the moon from my backyard and put them in a collage.
So, that was part of my morning and I would like to share a funny story with you now. I bought an Easter card for a cousin which I sent this week. He had sent me a card also and I, possibly, should've opened that card before I bought mine for him because this is what happened...
Lol! I had a good laugh at that and I sent mine out with a note stating I had bought his before opening my card from him. Hopefully, he will find it as funny as I did. I do love the card which was why I picked it out for him. 😊
Last photo..I promise!!
