This weekend started of with a bang i had visitors from Australia drop in on me in Thailand and from that moment i knew it was going to be a big drinking weekend well for 2 nights in Bangkok city before they were flying out to Phuket city on Sunday mid-day. So after my 2 nights of partying with them i needed a walk in the park to capture some fresh air.

For some reason after a couple nights of drinking and partying i need to find myself a peaceful place to be and a walk in the park always seems to cure them hangovers i do think it's that nature and water you are surrounded with will give you that peace of mind and refresh you or recharge you , well it works for me.

This particular park i chose to go to today is a short skytrain ride to the other side of the city i picked this park because this time last year it's just about in full bloom with many beautiful colorful flowers that give out a lovely scent of smell.

I visited this park last year at around about this time so i knew it was going to be a lovely walk through this park smelling and looking at all these pretty colored flowers.

I remember the time i was there last year i never got to see all of this beautiful park it's enormous it covers a area of about 300 acres a park you can certainly get lost in , it is like this park is broken up into sections and each section seems to have there own breed of flowers this is one section i loved most not sure what they call these flowers but they are stunning.

Then you got some man made ponds with all different stunning colored Lotus flowers.

Lotus flowers are one of my favorites they are so elegant to look at and such pretty colors.

Even the leafy plants have got some amazing coloring and texture.

This Banyan tree i say would be either deformed or been pruned to grow this way but it certainly has some character.

This was quite interesting the way this wire cage was built like a huge hanger for these maybe pumpkin vines i think to grow over very neat and very effective a great shady spot to cool of and look at the size of that pumpkin hanging of that vine.

They even have a animal section well not real but looks great.

This was another outstanding part of this park the different colored Hibiscus flowers.

I believe these flowers belong to the Dahlia family which include about 42 species of dahlia flowers and some of these are sunflower, daisy, chrysanthemum, and zinnia the most common.

The amazing part about this park there was no end to the beauty it just kept getting better and better everywhere you looked , i just couldn't get over these beautiful mixtures of colors just like oil paintings.

I had definitely made the right choice the walk in the park was the perfect prescription for the hangover i came out of that park feeling a new me again :)
