My Sunday started off with a very lazy morning no intention of doing anything radical i was just going to sit back and relax i had a sleep in till 10 am yep that was a late start but hey we all need a sleep in now and then. Enjoying my late morning coffee i get a phone call from a friend asking me if i could help him move a couple items up to his condo.

So much for a lazy morning after coffee and checking some emails and Steemit replies i headed of to my mates condo help him out had a couple beers and of i when. We had been talking about this overhead walkway bridge that's near his condo and he suggested take a walk along there on your way home you will find it interesting.

He said this bridge is built through the center of the city over a few major roads in Bangkok it starts from near Benjakitti Park and leads you into Lumpini Park near your condo.

I said damn that's over a 10 km walk , he said well you like walking i am sure you won't regret this walk you will see many interesting things from above this walkway bridge well he certainly wasn't wrong.

I didn't mind the walk at all the only thing that was worrying me was getting caught by the afternoon monsoon shower that was building up and ready to bucket down at any moment and i had no cover on this walkway.

Dog on the wooden balcony guarding the abandon cars below he was barking his head of at me doing his job i suppose.

I was loving seeing all these old suburban houses of Bangkok and the everyday life of people from above this walkway bridge so much character in these houses and alleyways.

Abandon Car Park.

This bit of architectural ingenuity was a classic it made me laugh only in Thailand this whole beam structure has rusted away and on it way to collapsing to the floor.

But the tree stump and the rope come to the rescue some ones brilliant thinking.

Well the storm had passed by me with only a few drops of water i had escaped this one and i was near the end of the bridge walkway luckily.

The bridge is used by bike cycles but no motor bikes allowed thank god it makes it more of a delightful walk without motor bikes zooming pass.

And like my friend said it lead me right out front of one of Lumpini's park gateway entrance but just at the other end from my condo building.

This was great i had never been at this end of Lumpimi park as soon as i entered i was meant by this beautiful garden of yellow flowers with boulders scattered around this park of the park.

This little park area had some benches were you could sit relax and read a book or have a snooze amongst all this beautiful nature.

Lumpini Park in Bangkok is well known for it's beautiful flowers and landscaping people come here to relax and enjoy the fresh air and the lovely smelling odors from the flowers.

Even the stray cats love relaxing in this park.

In the afternoon's you get a lot of joggers coming into the park and they even have aerobic dance classes going on around section of the park quite entertaining to look at or join in.

Many things you can do in this huge park sit relax have a snooze or do some bird watching.

Or you can chase some Monitor Lizards around the park...lol :)

And i found more lovely boulders for @shasta :)

And some more pretty flowers for @roxy-cat :)

From a relaxing Sunday to an Adventurous 15 km walk the sun had disappeared and it was time to go home my red wine as waiting for me , what a tremendous Sunday it turned out to be.
