Today the day seemed overcast without a lot of sunshine just the right day to jump on a boat and cruise a bit more of the Chao Phraya River of Bangkok. This river runs for about 370km through Bangkok and i always find it interesting cruising this river looking at different section everytime i cruise along this river. There is a boat they call it "Hop On Hop Off" boat you buy a daily ticket for $5 US and cruise the river all day long using this name boat only.

Many temple to been seen along this river.

The famous Temple of Dawn.

Aother exclusive multi million dollar high end mall going up called the Icon Mall.

The Navel traning center of Bangkok.

I always find these hugh massive boats getting tugged along the river not what they are carring whether it's goods or trash.

I am nearing the Rama 9 bridge which was built for the lastest Kings 60th birthday and it is were i will make my first stop since i haven't seen this area before so i will get of and have a bit of a look around.

This is one beautiful piece of architectural design for this bridge.

A close up look at these long tailboat motors pretty cool and powerful.

So of the pier i walk and through this park were i see this amazing Fort called the Phra Sumen Fort.

Over the other side of the Fort is all these beautiful little coffee and cake shops all very uniquely done had the best cappuccino and then moved on back to the river to take the boat further up the river.

On to Hop On Hope Off boat a couple more stops up i see this huge massive dinner cruise boat just parked by the pier , i have seen these buffet cruise boats on the river before but not one as big as this one i just had to go and have a closer look.

I walk back from the pier then up some stairs onto the motor way and took some photos looking down on the deck of this massive buffet restaurant cruise boat definitely a sight to see.

From there i duct into the local area to see what was around in this side of town.

I found many shops in this area were selling all sorts of lotions and vitamin tablets every shop seemed to have the same products a bit of competition for each other.

Further down the road i found a little open market just what i needed some fresh fruits and my pomegranate juice i had already been walking for a couple of hours or more and i needed a boost up.

I found these pretty interesting little animals all been handmade by this lady behind the store using rope strings a lot of time and patience i would say.

Saw this little puppy keeping cool under this cart so i bought him a sausage on the stick he looked a bit confused why i would do that but am sure he appreciated it.

Moving on i come to this unusual shopping mall the entrance had all these bicycles hanging of this wall very impressive i thought never seen anything like this before.

Walking further into the open area mall i found many little cute shops set up in all different ways with lots of foods , juices and coffee shops to choose from.

They even had a violin player doing a few jazz notes smoothing and relaxing while having a coffee or just relaxing reading a book.

I sat for a little while , the day was getting on i had been out wondering around most of the day so i decided i need to get back on that boat before the sun decided to go home.

Luckly the peir was right next to this mall i had walked to so up the stairs and and downstairs at the peir and my yacht was waiting for me.

Ohhhh......sorry the wrong boat the one on the left of you Sir...lol :)

On the boat heading back home and just checking out the old abandon houses mixed in with the new it's certainly a interesting mixture of real eastate along this river.

Another interesting thing you see along this river is the boats from modern to almost Thai antique style but nicely done representing historical times of Thailand.

Well i was coming to my stop it has been another interesting day on the Chao Phraya River and i will certainly be doing it again as there is so much to see yet and it never gets boring.

At the pier of the boat walk through the Temple and park and up to the Skytrain for my short trip home. Another amazing beautiful Sunday had in the city of Bangkok.

Thank you @ace108 for hosting #beautifulsunday and thank you @c0ff33a for hosting #SublimeSunday.
