Kv Mechelen is the first finalist on the Belgian Cup Final after winning 1-2 away against Union Yesterday. Betting very much went as I had planned in my preview with a live bet on the over shortly after the first goal was scored. The 0-2 was scored mid 2nd half and provided an opportunity to get out of the way taking some on the under 2.5 offering a risk-free chance at some profit. Not much happened since the match was pretty much played after 0-2 and the 1-2 came in extra time.
Oostende vs AA Gent
Oostende managed to score twice in Gent last week taking home a 2-2 result and will now be qualified with a 0-0 or 1-1 draw, any win or a 2-2 if they manage to win in extra time or with penalties. 2 Red cards for AA Gent and leader Odidja not playing surely helped Oostende who have been an overall poor team especially against better sides. The most likely scenario for this match is for the visitors to attack while Oostende lures on the counter. Teams that know a draw result is enough for them often have mixed intentions which often screws themselves up. AA Gent is the favorites in this match for sure and I would not be surprised by a bigger margin victory by them. Oostende has been consistently poor against the better teams and I see it as unlikely that this will be any different today. For as far as goals go, it might stay 0-0 for a while and AA Gent has shown in the past that they can have difficulties to actually break down a defense even though I rate them higher compared to a couple months back. For as for as the odds go, limits were terrible early in the week and not much was needed to get the 2.01 odds down to 1.80. I always hate to give up so much compared to the opening price. I could not resist taking a small bet on the
AA Gent -1 @ 2.480 just now. Similar to most matches these days, I will be waiting for confirmation and possible good spots to bet on Live in-game.
