I have been looking to take early bets on week 27 of the Belgian Jupiler League but was unable to come up with something I can really stand behind. That was until I got some confirmation on my lean to fade Racing Genk just now in the Europa League match.
Racing Genk vs Antwerp
I managed to systematically ride Racing Genk in the first part of the season where they were pretty much highly underrated and they have now gotten to the point where they are nowhere near that form anymore. The entire soap around Pozzuelo really has gotten under their skin and they also seem to be missing Berge who has been out for some time. They lost last weekend against Club Brugge and also were nowhere most of the European match just now against Slavia Praha. In less than 3 days they face Antwerp who have been one of the best Away teams in the league and tend to put up strong defensive performances. I initially hesitated mostly because Antwerp is also not at their peak form and they lost the match away against Club Brugge some time back which can be seen as a reference. Given the poor performance of Genk who got eliminated from the Europa League, along with the big +1 handicap line and the injury of goalkeeper Vucovic makes Antwerp a must bet for me right now. I split my stakes between Antwerp +1 @ 1.96 | Antwerp 1st Half +0.5 @ 1.74 and took a bit extra on Antwerp +0.5 @ 2.529 in BTC at Nitrogensports
