Bitcoin's performance before 2017 ends was pretty decent even though it just drop from $20k+ high mark to almost $12k+. Everytime bitcoin drops, there is always somebody to jumped-in and took advantage of the cheaper price and hoping for it to rise again. In this way, bitcoin will not be totally crashed which the critics love to see but this resistance of our fellow cryptonians wasn't enough momentum to drive bitcoin to skyrocket again. It just needs a greater volume to trigger the trend to rise up and this will invite others to step in and join the ride. 2017 ends on a roller coaster ride and some get nervous about the bitcoin's low performance and they switched to altcoin resulting in additional slap for bitcoin. Now, 2018 is at hand and this will be another exciting year for bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a whole. I am expecting for another bull run anytime soon and it will surpass its previous highest mark which is $20k+ early December of 2017. Currently, bitcoin trend is at a regular pace just between $15k and $16k but it's ready to skyrocket again, it's just waiting for the right time for the rocket to launch.
Just recently, there is an intense buzz circulating on the web that the CEO of the world's biggest social media was talking about cryptocurrency and the battle between centralized and decentralized currency. Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, is a great influence on a massive number of people worldwide. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are still in its infancy stage and only a few of us who invest in it compared to the world's population. World's population is about 7.6 billion now and let's say the teenage and adult were about 4 billion. So its just roughly 4% of world's population is on cryptocurrency. Mark Zuckerberg will be a great icon for the cryptocurrency to spread throughout the continent, penetrating all boundaries and we are so lucky that we are here first than the rest of the world.
