I have been contemplating how governments could stop the bitcoin movement for some time now and really the only conclusion i came to is that the worst they could do is change the architecture of the internet itself to a centralised one where all traffic passes through a central node, though that would not even achieve anything as there will always be a way around it. I came across a meme that sums up my thoughts to a tee.
