For the past few weeks Dillian Whyte[23-1-0] has been left in limbo in terms of future opponents, their was talks of a deal being close for him to face either Kubrat Pulev [25-1-0] or Luis Ortiz[28-1-0].
Today Dillian Whytes opponent has been made official and it is none other than Joseph Parker[24-1-0] the former WBO Heavyweight Champion who lost that title to Antony Joshua in his last fight.

Interestingly Joseph Parker was slated to face Bryant Jennings [23-2-0] but it seems that bout has been scrapped for the more exciting and fan friendly Dillian Whyte.
The bout will be held at the O2 Arena on July 28th and is unclear at this moment in time what the spoils of war will be in terms of money and titles, but as the Antony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder fight looks closer to actually happening the winners of their respective matches will surely face off against what will become a unified champion.
