Groves vs Eubanks:- Post Fight Mini-Documentary and Other Events Worth a Mention...

After this weekends fights of which there were quite a few the Groves vs Eubanks fight is the one that i feel was the most talked about and rightly so in my opinion, i picked Groves to win and defend his WBA super-middleweight title which he did in a convincing manner, other than the fights themselves i often like to see what goes on behind closed doors.

The World Boxing Super Series has a rather unique format in terms of the tournaments and the events themselves which are quite the spectacle, below is a mini documentary which i found interesting and think others will too.

I look forward to the penultimate semi-final bout between Callum Smith and Juergen Braehmer and think Callum Smith will win via a TKO/KO and go on to face Groves in the final, this will arguably bring the best of the British super-middleweight fighters on to a big stage were ultimately i think Callum Smith will go on to win the Mohammed Ali trophy.

Callum Smith is undefeated with 23 wins 17 of which came by way of TKO/KO and his opponent Juergen Braehmer is no slouch and has been a pro since 1999, his record stands at 49-3-0 with 35 of those wins coming by way of TKO/KO so is by far the more experienced fighter.

Below is a documentary/promo for their upcoming bout which is scheduled for 24.2.2018.

Other than the boxing there was a few MMA bouts worth a mention with the fan favourite Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone putting on an impressive performance against Yancy "The Kid" Medeiros and also Matt "Meathead" Mitrione picking up a close decision win over Roy "Big Country" Nelson.
