A visit to the beautiful Color changing Temple : PREM MANDIR

Recently I visited the most beautiful temple I have ever known about: THE PREM MANDIR. The word 'Prem' is a sanskrit word which means LOVE and the word Mandir is a hindi word which means Temple.

The temple is located in outskirts of Vrindavan, India. The temple is well known as a symbol of Divine Love because it is dedicated to Lord Radha-Krishna who are famous for their eternal love to each other. Lord Radha-Krishna constitutes God Krishna and his Love Goddess Radha. It has been constructed in a land area of 54 acres and it took 11 years to build it. So you can imagine how grand it must be.

I visited the place with my parents, it is quite a family place and there is no entry fee. The place was very crowded though, my father and I guessed 50,000 as the number of daily visitors. The place is a total eye-candy in the night because of its amazing light work.

Below is the shot which I took when I was entering the place:

Below is the shot I took in the daytime while I was roaming around the Vrindavan City. Although it does not look as beautiful as the above shot, but I personally feel the daytime image has its own beauty.

Below is the front shot of the main premises from where people were entering and exiting to make their prayers to Lord Radha-Krishna.

Lets Move Closer.
Look at the three shots below. I took these shots when I was near the main premises and the temple was changing its color in a span of few seconds. Believe me, it looked so damn beautiful and made me feel so good. The photography was not allowed inside the main premises which is this building itself.

So in the 54 acres of the temple, what was there except the main premises which I showed above?

There was a big dome shaped hall to accommodate 25000 people at once. All the premises of the temple had enough spacing between them so that the visitors could enjoy the beauty of it with utmost comfort. There were beautiful lawns with grass and very pretty flowers. There were heart-throbbing 3D sceneries of Lord Radha-Krishna with a beautiful tale telling water fountain. The fountain was illustrating the tale of the saint who built the temple. I loved visiting this place with my parents. I feel very pampered when I go out with them and also the place had its own positive energy to make me feel even more uplifted.

It was a beautiful sunny day. Here are two shots I clicked in the way :
