Hello lovely steemians,
This is my butterfly colouring contest #23 entry hosted by @deemarshall. deemarshall has provided 3 beautiful stencils for us to choose. It hard to choose because all three stencils were beautiful and if possible, I would like to colour all of them. At last, I decided to go with this unique stencil. Why I said it unique? It because of the background. It looks like some silk fabric at the back. Since it is silk fabric, I decided to use soft colour as a background, so that the main object would be more outstanding with some strong colour.
Hope you all likes the colour effect of these stencil.
Here is the progress throughout my colouring process:
- Coloured the background with soft colour. I have mixed the background with 2 colours' combination i.e. Yellow with Orange, Yellow with Light Green.
2.After that, I decided to colour the Rose with Red.
3.Then coloured lily with mixture of colours, the purpose was to get it more outstanding than the background
4.Then the other small lily with different red. I have mixed it a bit with blue as well.
5.Finally, the butterflies and bubbles with rainbow colour where butterflies should be colourful.
