Steemit is a PERFECT choice for our content, because a lot of it is civil disobedience (peaceful public breaking of unjust laws). The blockchain is about as "public" as you can get! And of course, Steemit is very hard or impossible to censor. Google doesn't own this part of the internet, and never will. : D
