This is my post for what does #ccc mean to me by @wakeupkitty
I am not sure of the true meaning of #ccc but to me, I guess it could mean a catch of crab, catfish, and conch. If I was very hungry I could very well have a smorgasbord of seafood. I was trying to only catch crabs so this is not very good. But my other two traps did much better. The trap that I keep south of my friend's dock had a huge tree branch drifted on top of it, but it still had five crabs in it. It also had a big stone crab in it but the season is closed on them. I have my last trap south of the boat ramp by another friends dock. This is my best catching trap. It had eight crabs, a horny toad blowfish, and two big stone crabs. I dump the crabs out of the crab traps right into a cooler of ice, once they get cold you can handle them without getting pinched, but don't let them warm back up because they will come back to life and pinch you, once they lock on they will not let go. When we clean crabs to cook we always put live crabs in ice water, it puts them to sleep where you can handle them to take the top shell off and get the guts and devils fingers out.
