Never Waver and Be Strong in Faith

Romans 4.jpg

Abraham, a man of righteousness, did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief. God promised Abraham to be the father of many nations, however, Abraham was already too old when he received this promise, and so was his wife, Sarah. It would be impossible for them to give birth to a child at their old age. Sarah, however, doubted, but Abraham did not. His righteousness was strengthened in faith, and he glorified God through his strong faith. And so it happened that Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah was 90 when she gave birth to Isaac. Abraham knew and believed that God would fulfill His promise. His faith and belief were so strong and he remained faithful to God until the end.

Sometimes, we waver and our faith is shaken when our desires and prayers do not get answered. We lack faith and we easily give up. We can all learn a great lesson of faith from Abraham's story. We have to remain steadfast and strong in our faith. We must walk in righteousness and hold on to God's promises to us. As it is written, God's plan for us is to prosper us and not to harm us. When we are troubled, we must seek Him and ask for His help. God wants us to run to Him and never waver. We also need to meditate on His word, because through His word, we will gain wisdom and we will be reminded of His goodness and faithfulness. He is a faithful God, who can be trusted to fulfill everything that He has said in His Word.
