RE: Is Christmas a pagan celebration? (Part 4)

I believe, I spoke a lot about the past. But fair enough. Also most people I've seen, who repeat this Davinci thing, they tend to think that Catholics still do all of those things. Sorry, If I assumed that was the case as well.

The Roman Catechism or Catechism of the Council of Trent, was published in 1566. So it is as old, as the oldest of Protestants denominations. Is this old enough? (In fact that's why they made it, because after Luther, everyone was claiming to be a messiah. They had the true meaning. By the time Luther died, there where over 200 denominations. All of which he couldn't stand, by the way)

But let's say, that's not old enough. We can go further back it's just that the catechism is really, convenient. Because it's all of the teachings and doctrine in one place.

But I think there is no need, let's just look at the Catechism it self: - "Nearly every book in the Bible is quoted at least once; so are most of the Church's ecumenical councils, many particular councils are cited, and the writings (mostly encyclicals) of 22 popes. As are the Church's liturgical documents (pre-eminently the Roman Missal and Liturgy of the Hours) and the writings of many, many theologians and saints, as far back as Ignatius of Antioch (1st-2nd century)" -

You can go as back as you want, you won't find any legit and authentic Catholic document (And everything has been documente for 2000 years) where the things you said are even mentioned. Like the priests going to put people in heaven.

I'm just encouraging you to look it up yourself, i've been pointing out good places to start. If by this point, you have no interest what so ever in doing a more rigorous study of it and you're 100% in the Davinci thing... I don't know.

One thing is sure, the anti Christian propaganda in general, is NOTHING, nothing when compared to specific anti Catholic.
