Blue Friday - Color Challenge

Tampere (a city in Finland) just got it's newest and biggest shopping mall complex. The opening was on April 19th. I'm not one of those people who like to shop till you drop. And although I do like to live in the heart of this city because of the short distances and public transport, I'm not one of those people who like a kind of turbostuffed city, the destruction of old or the annihilation of nature when building new and modern things.

So instead of the shopping center, there could have been for instance a five floored garden: underground vegetable-, shroom-, berriefields, overground Finnish nature paradise and couple of floors winter gardens. City lungs and supplies for the local restaurants.

But no. No to gardens. No to nature. No trees planted in the Ratina shopping mall square. Just concrete, stone, steel and glass. And shops with products to buy. Shop till you drop they say.

Nevertheless I sure do like architecture. And I love photographing it. So here's some blue for you. One building of the whole complex. As seen through my fisheye lens.

My blue design creature with stylish mustaches is amazed of the curving straight lines and the reflected blueness.
