
The Dash Core Group, the company that is behind the cryptocurrency Dash has recently partnered with virtual reality (VR) app Aircoin which enables users to hunt, collect and send Dash cryptocurrency in an augmented reality (AR) environment.
The application is similar in execution to Pokemon Go mobile game where in real life locations are interlaced with virtual items where players can hunt and collect.
Ernesto Contreras, business development manager for Latin American at Dash Core Group, said the collaboration with Aircoin will allow Dash to reach new markets.
He also adds that merging the two nascent technologies, AR and cryptocurrencies, through a fun game is an exciting step for both technologies.
Aircoin is an augmented reality application that incentivizes users by rewarding them in cryptocurrencies, utilizing geolocations, coins are scattered around the world for players to find and collect.
