
Walmart has recently filed a patent with the United States Patent and Trademarks Office (USPTO) last August 1 detailing a blockchain-based drone communications.
It describes a system on a drone that encrypts and stores that drone’s operational parameters then passes it own to another drone which decrypts, reads and then configures to those parameters.
The new system enables secure communications between drones, relaying messages, meshing communications networks and allows machines to be aware of each other's location and bearing.
Just recently, the retail giant reveals interest on issuing its own stablecoin when it filed for a patent for a system and method for digital currency via blockchain.
