A deep tech space start-up has recently launched the public sale of their tokenized internet-from-space service.
The initiative aims to revolutionize the delivery of broadband internet in developing economies by designing a satellite constellation that will complement terrestrial fibre and support the expansion of 4G and upcoming 5G networks.
Astrome is now preparing to launch SpaceNet, a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation of 198 ultra-HighThroughput Satellites (ultra-HTS), having developed and patented its millimetre wave wireless communications technology.
The financial layer was built on top of the SpaceWave Blockchain and with the satellite constellation enables a distributed network architecture allowing for agnostic delivery of internet services.
