
The government of Bangladesh has recently revealed that it will use money from its $208 million IT project fund to send graduates for blockchain training in Japan and India.
According to a local news outlet, Bangladesh authorities are planning on sending 100 new IT graduates abroad in its effort to boost expertise in emerging technologies such as distributed ledger technology, electrical and electronic engineering to learn about the future trends of information technology.
People under 32 years of age can participate in the program which is available online and will have to take an exam with the Information and Communications Technology(ICT) Division in order to qualify.
Enhancing knowledge about distributed ledger technology has been a growing trend around the world as it is widely recognized that the nascent industry will be part of select emerging technology that will spur the next industrial revolution.
